Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using ValLedger, a product of Valtrx, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What ValLedger Is
ValLedger is a business management platform for service businesses. It provides tools for lead management, quoting, job scheduling, invoicing, and payment collection. It is not an accounting platform and should not be used as a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One account per business workspace.
4. Payments and Billing
ValLedger is offered on a subscription basis. After any free trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription. All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled.
5. Your Data
You own your data. We will never sell it. If you cancel your account, you can request a data export within 30 days. After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ValLedger for anything illegal, fraudulent, or harmful. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
ValLedger and Valtrx are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We'll notify you by email for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Third-Party Integrations
ValLedger integrates with third-party services including QuickBooks Online (Intuit), Stripe, and Google services. When you connect a third-party account, you authorize ValLedger to send and receive data between your ValLedger account and the connected service. You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the terms of service of any third-party service you connect. ValLedger is not responsible for the actions, data handling, or service availability of third-party providers. You may disconnect any integration at any time from your Settings page.
11. AI Features
ValLedger uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to power features including the Val command bar, receipt scanning, and daily briefings. AI features process your workspace data to generate responses and automate tasks. AI-generated content should be reviewed for accuracy. ValLedger does not use your data to train AI models. AI features may be updated or modified as the technology evolves.
12. Data Sharing with Intuit (QuickBooks)
When you connect QuickBooks Online, the following data is shared with Intuit: client names, email addresses, invoice details (amounts, line items, dates), payment records, and expense records. This data is shared solely to sync your business records. ValLedger does not share your data with Intuit for advertising or any other purpose. You can revoke access at any time by disconnecting QuickBooks from Settings.
